With the Engineering Platform LASAL, you are provided with an integrated and user-friendly tool set for all phases of machine design: project development, control programming (CLASS) visualization (SCREEN and web-based with VISUDesigner), motion control (MOTION), Safety (SAFETY), simulation, initial start-up, service, diagnostics and remote maintenance (SERVICE) of the machine and system in the field.

LASAL combines object-oriented programming (IEC 61131-3 standard) with graphic representation and makes mechatronic engineering possible: Real machine components can be represented by software objects. With the extensive LASAL Libraries, you can get quickly and easily to your application software.

In the approach of Industry 4.0 and Smart Factories, the LASAL Machine Manager has the data flow for distributed intelligences in multi-CPU concepts firmly under control. In addition, the LASAL OPC UA Server enables manufacturer- and platform-independent data exchange directly on the controller.

Remote Access

Secured remote maintenance options increase the availability of your machine. With our “Remote Access Platform” (RAP) combined with the “Remote Access Routers” (RAR) or the operating system extension “Embedded Remote Access” (RAE), you have many possibilities. Your technicians can simply create a secure VPN connection with the desired machine through a central interface. So the machine or system visualization can be operated through VNC. You are able to perform software updates, debugging and maintenance as if you were directly on-site.

The compact Remote Access Router (RAR) for the DIN rail ensures that you can meet the highest IT security standards. Different RAR variants are available: Ethernet only, SIM 4G as well as Wi-Fi and Wi-Fi + 4G LTE. With the USB stick included with delivery, the RA routers can be quickly connected to the Remote Access Platform and configured. Further accessories for the RA routers can be found HERE.

With the app "SIGMATEK Connect" it is even possible to monitor and maintain machines and systems via smartphone or tablet.

AGV / AMR Automation

Automated guided transport systems and vehicles (AGS /AGV), as well as autonomous mobile robots (AMR) are increasingly becoming a standard component of modern intralogistics solutions. A flexible, open control architecture is thereby a key factor. AGVs and AMRs can be easily integrated into the material flow and in combined operation with other floor conveyors.

With 35 years of experience in industrial automation, SIGMATEK has expert know-how in automating AGVs and AMRs: reliable control, integrated safety technology and dynamic drive technology. Our compact S-DIAS system is robustly constructed and can be assembled into a customized solution for your AGV or AMR. The data between the individual AGVs and the primary control is exchanged via WLAN.

Managing AGV /AMR Fleets

Are you searching for a software tool to network and coordinate your AGV and AMR models – even in combination with AGVs from various manufacturers? Then our Traffic Control System offers the full program. The fleet management software coordinates transport tasks, organizes route planning, optimizes transport orders with the integrated fleet simulation and supports standardized interfaces, such as VDA 5050. SLAM maps can be easily and directly integrated.

SLAM Navigation in Real Time

AGVs and AMRs monitor adherence to your route continuously. Contour-based laser navigation, which does not require the installation of artificial landmarks, is increasingly used for this purpose. Production and warehouses, as well as shipping and receiving, are areas that frequently change (shelving, pallets). Here, the SLAM (simultaneous localization and mapping) navigation methods are a good choice. During navigation, the AGV and AMR continuously compare the actual situation scanned with the stored map and dynamically create a new map. SIGMATEK developed an open real-time localization software tool: SlamLoc takes contour-based navigation to a new level. SlamLoc is ready for operation in just a few minutes, does not need preinstalled plans and even with drastic contour changes, determines a position accurate to ±10 mm and ±0,1° in real time.
